I created this piece with a grateful heart as I looked back on the beauty of friendship in my life. The work became a reflection of that - the strength and joy found in friendship, and the depth of lives lived alongside one another, in a kindred, knit together sort of way. Each brushstroke feels like a story, layered and distinct, yet woven into something greater - just like the people who walk with us through life. This piece honors the way community grounds us, reminds us who we are, and creates a kind of beauty we couldn’t form on our own.
